Our new Digitalization Area is one of our change driving units in the food family. As thought leaders and pioneers we have to recognize changes in customer expectations, market conditions, technical possibilities and external influences at a very early stage and find a response to them.
Our mission is to deliver the best possible user experience to our customers 24/7 across all digital touchpoints to generate reach, brand awareness and revenue.
This requires first-class digital marketing skills, an excellent understanding of data, and a keen sense of relevant trends. We consistently question how we can ensure greater efficiency and effectiveness with digitalized and automated processes in the food family.

 

Within our new area we will also take new paths when it comes to leadership. We will the leave the classical way, where personal and professional/functional leadership are thought together. Instead we will separate these two responsibilities from each other, which means that the People Lead will be responsible for the personal leading and development of 20 up to 30 people.

 

Your tasks

  • As a People Lead you help our teams to succeed by connecting people, fostering talent and organization development and ensuring a safe and trusted work environment
  • Together with our Tribe and Expert Leads - the functional leads - you ensure the achievement of targets and thus make a significant contribution to the success of the company.
  • As a role model and change facilitator, you recognize and promote the talents of employees - leaders and team members - and ensure that they are deployed in a strengths-oriented manner.
  • You inspire and encourage employees to find their own solutions and resolve conflicts, and provide them with regular feedback.
  • Through a balanced team composition, you create the framework for the personal development of your employees and attract new employees.
  • Active exchange at all levels and intensive networking enable you to recognize the most diverse needs and to adapt yourself and the team to changes.
  • Connecting people & being the trusted contact person for team members and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Tribe and Expert leads to ensure that the team has the capacity and capabilities needed to meet their objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity and efficiency, such as implementing agile methodologies and improving communication and collaboration between team members
  • Ensure that team members are meeting individual and team goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to help them improve. 

Our expectations

  • You have successfully completed a university degree and have gained relevant years of professional leadership experience, ideally in a development-related environment
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with a proven ability and passion to motivate and develop people as well as driving team success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Organizational skills and being a decision maker
  • Intercultural experience and open-minded attitude
  • Highly empathic person
  • Profound knowledge in agile leadership, leading in matrix structures as well as change management competence
  • German language skills at a native level and business fluent communication skills in English as well
  • Due to the cross-location cooperation, willingness to travel on a regular basis would be required
